Terms of Service

In short: use Askofy fairly and lawfully, and remember the learning content is for awareness only. Organisations that run campaigns and partners who provide content have their own terms too.

1. Who we are

Askofy ("Askofy", "we", "us") is a service of Scripteco Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its base in Mumbai, Maharashtra. These Terms are a legal agreement between you and Scripteco Technologies Private Limited.

2. Which terms apply to you

• Visitors to askofy.com, including the demo: these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
• Participants who take a campaign, quiz or course: also the Participant Terms and the Terms & Conditions shown inside that campaign.
• Organisations (companies, hospitals, schools, NGOs, government bodies) and their admins: also the Organisation Terms, the Data Processing Addendum and the Payments & Refund Policy.
• Campaign partners who provide or co-brand content, such as medical trusts: also the Campaign Partner Terms.
• Everyone: the Acceptable Use Policy.

If a document written for your role conflicts with these Terms, the document for your role wins on that point.

3. Using Askofy

• You must be able to form a binding contract where you live. If you are under 18 (or under the age of digital consent where you live), you may take part only as described in the Participant Terms.
• Keep your login safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once at digi@askofy.com if you think it has been misused.
• Give accurate information. Certificates carry the name you enter.
• Do not misuse the service. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
• You may not use Askofy if you are barred from doing so by the laws of India or of the country you are in, including trade sanctions.

4. Content and intellectual property

• The Askofy platform, software, design, mascots, animations, templates and brand belong to Scripteco Technologies Private Limited or its licensors.
• Campaign content belongs to whoever created it: us, the organisation running the campaign, or a campaign partner. Names and marks of partners (for example, Brainline's SHAAADOWSSS®) belong to their owners and are used with permission.
• You may share your own certificate and share cards freely. Do not copy, resell or republish campaign content without permission.

5. Health and educational content

Askofy campaigns are for general awareness and education. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. In an emergency, call your local emergency number: 108 or 112 in India, 112 in the EU and many other countries, 999 in the UK, 911 in the US and Canada. See the Health & Content Disclaimer.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep Askofy available and safe, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". We may improve, change or retire features. If a change materially reduces a paid service, the Organisation Terms apply.

7. Third-party services

Some features rely on others, such as your device's voice for narration, or video hosts such as YouTube and Vimeo when you press play. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or goodwill.
• Our total liability to a visitor or participant for any claim is limited to ₹1,000 (or the equivalent in your currency). For organisations and partners, the caps in their own terms apply.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live, such as the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 in India or consumer law in the EU and UK.

9. Suspension

We may suspend or block access that breaks these Terms, puts others at risk, or is required by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For material changes we will give notice on the site, or by email to organisation admins and partners, before they take effect. Continuing to use Askofy after that means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring a claim in your local courts where that law allows. Disputes with organisations and partners are resolved as their own terms set out.
