Case study: 28 Rotary clubs, one campaign, 3,000+ people

For the first time, Rotary clubs across Thane, Navi Mumbai and beyond ran one co-branded stroke awareness campaign, with a live leaderboard. Here's how it works for any network of branches.

Getting one club to run a campaign is easy. Getting 28 to run the same campaign, at the same time, and see how they're doing together, is not. For World Stroke Day 2026, Rotary Club of Millennium City, Navi Mumbai brought clubs together on Askofy, and for the first time they ran it as one network.

Campaign still running: numbers below are progress as of 1 November 2026.

28 clubs
Rotary and Rotaract clubs across Thane, Navi Mumbai, Kalyan, Dombivli, Badlapur and even Jaipur.
3,004 participants
People who took the stroke lesson through a club's own link.
2,586 certified
86% of participants finished, passed and got a certificate.
6,600+ link opens
Club links were shared widely on WhatsApp, social media and at meetings.

How it worked

  1. 1.One parent organisation
Rotary Club of Millennium City set up the campaign once, with the content and certificate ready to go.
  2. 2.A sub-unit for every club
Each club got its own link, QR code and place on the leaderboard, with its city and president listed.
  3. 3.Co-branded for every club
Each club's logo appeared on its lesson and certificates, alongside the shared campaign.
  4. 4.A lead in every club
Club presidents were invited as leads to see their own numbers and rally their members.
  5. 5.One live view
The parent saw all 28 clubs ranked side by side, updating as people finished.

Gamification that gets people moving

Live leaderboard
Clubs ranked by people certified. Friendly competition did the rest.
Needs a nudge
Clubs where nobody has started yet are flagged, so the parent knows exactly who to call.
No lead yet: invite
Spot clubs without a lead and invite one in a click.
Certificates to share
Every participant gets a branded certificate, and sharing it brings in the next wave.

Privacy built in: each club can keep participant names to itself. The parent organisation sees totals only, unless a club chooses to share details.
